Everest Panorama trek is also known as Tengboche trek; which offers you panoramic views of the Himalayan Mountains, including the well-known peaks of Tawache, Mt Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and Thamserku. In the very time, this trek gives great opportunity to observe Tengboche Monastery. It is the largest Buddhist monastery in the Khumbu region located at the height of 3867 meters which is built in 1916 by Lama Gulu. And, the most important festival ‘Mani Rimdu’ which is held on October is celebrated by the Sherpa communities at this place Tengboche. And also, this trek takes you a close look of ethnic culture and lifestyle of the Sherpas community over there. As well as this trek gives great scenery of Rhododendron flowering in the area during the spring season.
Day 01 Arrival in airport and transfer to hotel
Day 02 Rest day at Kathmandu
Day 03 Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding (45 minutes)
Day 04 Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Day 05 Namche to Tengboche
Moving on from Namche Bazaar the trail follows the valley of the Imja Khola with some spectacular views of the mountains including Thamserku, Kangtega and Amadablam and dominating the skyline ahead, Everest and Lhotse. The most common night stop after Namche is at the top of a steep climb from the Imja Khola, at Tengboche. This is the site of one of the most significant Buddhist Monastery in khumbu Region and a visit is well recommended.
Day 06 Tengboche to Khumjung
Day 07 Khumjung to Phakding
Day 08 Phakding to Lukla
Day 09 Fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu
Day 10 Rest day at Kathmandu
