Langtang Ganja La pass trekking is situated south of the Tibetan border. It is inhabited by Sherpa and Tamangs, who share a similar religion, language and clothing style. Langtang Valley trek offers an opportunity to explore Tibetan villages, Tamang Villages, small various peaks and to visit glaciers and as green forest with blooming national flowers Rhododendrons.
Kyanjin Gompa is a last Tibetan Village in the valley, from where a trek starts to Helambu over Ganja La Pass (5200M). The pass it self is not easy, during autumn and spring the pass opens for trekkers. A trek Over Ganja la pass offers an entirely wilderness and adventure experience. So, local inquiries about its condition, good equipment and mountaineering experience are necessary for safe crossing. The Helambu village excludes a Tibetan feel and you will see fields enclosed by stonewall as well as herds of yaks, the most important animal for the people here.
From Tarke Gyang, we descend to Melamchi Khola before hiking to Pati Bhyanjyang, then trek down to Sundarijal; from here, we drive back to Kathmandu.
