Siklis trekking is a part of Annapurna region approached through Pokhara west of Kathmandu, will reach by road 210 km 6-7 hrs drive from Kathmandu or 45 minute by flight. Pokhara is central of trek starting point for Annapurna Base camp, Jomsom and Siklis. Siklis trek is one of the best treks of Annapurna region. Rough and wild, but less traveled region, Siklis trek penetrates through south Annapurna II, and Lamjung Himal massif. Siklis trek is named as royal trek when prince Charles visited this beautiful gurung settlement. We start the trek from Beganas Tal (Lake) head north to the Modi Khola and reach Siklis 1,980m Nepalis biggest gurung village. The trek takes us to remote villages that are far from the beaten track. Famous for maintaining its rustic tradition and age old culture, siklis is one of the good examples of an old gurung village. Besides, this gurung settlement is rich in flora and fauna, majestic mountains like Annapurna South 7,273m, Annapurna II 7,937m, Hiunchuli 6,336m, Lamjung Himal 6,986m and Machhapuchhre 6,999m innate hospitality and unique settlements.
